Sometimes teeth need to be extracted if they are badly decayed and cannot be saved with other procedures, or if they need to be removed because they are compromising the health of an adjacent tooth. Some wisdom teeth do not erupt properly or become impacted and in some cases it is better to have these teeth removed.
